A legendary jazz musician who has taken the accordion around the world and is internationally recognized. Art has agreed to do a Master Workshop with highlights of his career including the years he spent with NBC and Capitol Records. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see and hear one of today's true jazz legends One of the all-time great jazz accordionists, Art Van Damme who has collaborated with great names of jazz music such as Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee and Dizzy Gillespie. Art will be the Honory Conductor of the Las Vegas Accordion Convention and the First evening Art will be presented with an Honory Award for his achievements in bringing the accordion into the main stream. Although Art is officially retired he has not ruled out performing and we are sure you will not want to miss Monday night! Art will be conducting a Master Workshop that should be exciting for anyone to attend. The workshop will feature highlights of his career and should prove to be an educational and informative class that everyone will want to attend.
